Music has always been like a trusted companion for me; it’s the soundtrack to my days and pretty much sets the tempo for everything I do. For a long time, MUSE was my favorite band; so, when I decided to create a piece (which later turned into a diptych) dedicated to madness, it only made sense to borrow a few lines (with a twist) from their song “Madness.” I strongly believe that madness and absurdity are intertwined into the very fabric of our lives not just to complicate things and throw us off balance, but also to keep us afloat in those moments where common sense and logic would otherwise drag us down and drown us. Therefore, madness becomes a tool for lifting us up, for breaking free, shedding the burdens, and rising above it all.
