I can’t pinpoint when my fascination with skulls began; it’s been a while, and I’ve scattered quite a few around the house over time.  I wouldn’t call it a formal collection, more like enjoyable company: I’m really drawn to the symbolism of skulls in Mexican culture, so having a few around feels like a good vibe. I don’t think I’d want a real one though… Would I make an exception for a Damien Hirst artwork?  Nah, I’d rather go for a fake and save some cash! So, I made it simple and made one myself!
