Describing the steps of my creative process is a bit tricky. Often, when I’m busy with activities that have nothing to do with art, I’ll suddenly get these “visions” that let me see what I’ll be creating shortly—stuff I didn’t even know I’d be making. Other times, a project idea comes from a bunch of evaluations, thoughts about a specific topic. I’ve noticed that love is a driving force, a spark that sets off many of my works. My aim is often to show its duality: a source of pleasure but also of pain. Love leaves its mark, just like a bite. Love bites.
