Love has always been a kind of rollercoaster of emotions for me. It’s a powerful force that can make you lose your sense of direction one minute, but then somehow helps you find your way again the next. Love hits hard, knocks you down, but also heals, satisfies, and gives life. I’ve come to believe that trying to force love is a losing battle from the get-go. That’s why I made the skull the main focus of this piece. Love just can’t be forced; it shows up when you least expect it, in all sorts of forms, throwing us off balance and making us do things we never thought we would. Funny how in the Italian dictionary, “amoral” comes before “love.” Coincidence?
