This is

me

I'm Roberta,

I'm the arm, the mind, but most of all the heart behind the StArt project.

Sono Roberta: mezzo busto in bianco e nero con forme colorate

I’m a self-taught artist, my background is in the humanities, and I’ve got a long history in the world of communication and advertising.

I’m an art collector, constantly surrounding myself with inspiration and sifting through the world to find those precious, interesting nuggets that I then use to create something new.

Art has always been a calling for me, nourishment for the soul, a feast for the eyes, a vehicle for emotions, a gentle caress of pleasure.

I’m a sensitive and thoughtful person, naturally versatile; my curious mind is always buzzing, and art helps me express what words sometimes can’t.

Through textured and contemporary art pieces, restoration works, or more traditional paintings, I aim to convey deep emotions or simply capture the moment, experimenting with different techniques and materials each time, always on the hunt for new forms of expression.

My creations aim to convey a message of rebirth, gratitude, introspective exploration, and beauty amidst chaos; each piece tells a unique story, enriched with symbols, colors, and materials reflecting the complexity of the human soul.

I’ve been told I need to let the light within me shine: it’s out of honesty to this characteristic of mine that I’ve chosen a black background for my space, so that the colors of my soul and art can burst forth with even more for

With a keen eye on the past and an open heart in the present, I look to the future; I’ll never tire of exploring new techniques and materials to bring forth works that are increasingly engaging and meaningful.

This determination of mine echoes the words of Turkish poet Nazim Hikmet:

The most beautiful sea

hasn’t been crossed yet.

The most beautiful child

hasn’t grown up yet.

Our most beautiful days

we haven’t seen yet.

And the most beautiful words I wanted to tell you

I haven’t said yet…

“The best is yet to come,” the journey has just begun.

Join me on this journey through my mind, where passion, curiosity, gratitude, and introspection converge to create a world where each piece is a window into my soul, an invitation to explore, reflect, and connect with the transformative power of art.
